A Few Resources on Challenging Men & Masculinity

2

A colleague who was preparing to do a workshop on working with men on exploring masculinity reached out to me recently in hopes that I might have resources to share.

Up to this point, my experience in working with men on masculinity and it’s connections to violence and sexual assault prevention focused primarily on exploring cisgender heterosexual men’s roles in perpetuating and preventing violence. As a result, you will see that reflected in the resources I’ll share below.

Of course, some language will need to be modified and brought up to date in the event you decide to use any of them.

Those are just a few. Additional resources can be found within the Anti-Sexism and Allyhood sections of my blog, Notes from an Aspiring Humanitarian.

If you have any additional resources that you know of and would like to share, including those which focus on intersectionality more intentionally, feel free to share them here in the comment section below, you can also share them with me directly through my contact form, or by finding me on twitter or facebook so that we can spread these resources more broadly.
