2018 Young Alumni 10 Within 10 Awards

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of presenting the Keynote at the 2018 Young Alumni 10 Within 10 Awards at Oakland University. Having been a member of the first class of recipients, it was an honor to return and share some thoughts with this year’s awardees.

With representation from city government, counseling, the legal system, healthcare, education, and others, each of the recipients have made, and are making an impact within their professions and throughout their communities.

In addition to congratulating them on their accomplishments and encouraging them to continue their work as active alumni, my intent was to challenge them to think critically about where they came from, and where they still had to go.
